Dollar cycle is tricky

The dollar had a big up day today, but this swing low is well past the 28 day cycle that swing lows off DCLs usually take. Perhaps this one got a bit extended. Extended to 35 days.

Gold had a small up day despite this rally. I do expect some struggling here, at best sideways motion, at worse a dip to about 1675 before marking a DCL.

Gold resyncs with the miners

Today gold is down around $30 but the miners fell 2% but have come back to -.8%. Such a relatively large drop in gold probably suggested that it was a shade overpriced or the miners were underpriced.

Regardless, with this condition, the expectation created is a higher potential for miners to have more fuel as gold climbs to $1900.
